I offer one to one therapy to individuals from sixteen years of age – face to face, telephone, Skype or by email. Email is great for people who cannot get to a face to face appointment or experience difficulty voicing what they feel. Because of the “disinhibition” effect (a greater ability to write deeply personal things down), email counselling can work equally if not better than face to face counselling.

Sometimes you may want to find a therapist who is not local so that you can keep distance between your private life and your issues. The big question is clearly “can this therapist help ME with MY problem”.
